Teens Court Session Held at Covenant Child Academy, Lekki Campus

Covenant Child Academy, Lekki Campus, recently recorded another significant milestone with the successful hosting of its Teens Court session. The event was conducted in a lively and engaging atmosphere, with learners demonstrating keen interest and anticipation throughout the proceedings.

The Teens Court, a distinctive initiative of the Academy, serves as a structured platform for promoting discipline and maintaining a conducive learning environment. Uniquely designed, the court features a jury composed of learners, thereby encouraging active participation, responsibility, and accountability among students.

Beyond its disciplinary function, the Teens Court offers learners valuable practical insight into judicial processes. Participants are given a fair opportunity to present their cases, respond to allegations, and declare their positions, reinforcing core principles of justice, fairness, and due process.

The session featured an 11-member panel that carefully reviewed each case and delivered well-considered judgments. In addition, learners who have consistently demonstrated exemplary behavior and outstanding performance were formally recognized, further strengthening a culture of excellence and positive conduct within the school community.

The continued impact of the Teens Court remains profound, as it nurtures leadership skills, enhances critical thinking, and deepens learners’ understanding of civic responsibility.

At Covenant Child Academy, we remain committed to raising future-ready global leaders.
