Former Lagos Education Commissioner Leads Two-Day Staff Training at CCA

Ahead of the official school resumption on Monday, September 14, 2026, the management of Covenant Child Academy (CCA) organized an intensive two-day staff capacity-building workshop designed to prepare its team for the new academic session.
The workshop was led by Folashade Adefisayo, who served as the Honourable Commissioner for Education in Lagos State. Drawing from her extensive experience in educational leadership, she engaged the CCA team in insightful and practical sessions aimed at strengthening professional competence and improving educational outcomes.

The training focused on important areas including effective teaching and learning, classroom management, leadership, teamwork, professional development, and quality service delivery.
Beyond acquiring new knowledge and strategies, the workshop provided an opportunity for staff to reflect, collaborate, and renew their commitment to maintaining high standards across all areas of the Academy.
The initiative underscores CCA’s belief that the quality of education is strengthened when educators are continually equipped, challenged, and inspired to grow. By investing in staff development, the Academy continues to build a team capable of providing a dynamic and impactful learning experience for its students.

As CCA prepares to welcome students back on September 14, the Academy looks forward to a new academic session filled with renewed energy, higher standards, innovation, and excellence.
At CCA, we don’t just prepare students for the future—we prepare the people who guide them.
